My struggle with excess weight was something I had to deal with every single day of my life. By 16 years, I was 300 lbs and I felt really bad. I could hardly walk in a faster pace without suffocating. The stairs were a horror came to life for me. I managed getting to 280 by 19. However, it was still a life threatening weight. So I went to my doctor and he prescribed me Phentermine. Of course, with all the extra weight I had I first had to do a bunch of tests and continued with regular tests during… Read more »

Wow Jane! You have quite a long story with Phentermine. I am on my way to start using weight loss pills, and I am trying to do a small search to figure which I should choose. Did you manage to lose weight without Phentermine after the second pregnancy?

Jane

yes I did lose weight after the second pregnancy, still I had to use Phentermine for 4 weeks to kick start. Works perfectly! Eliminates all the cravings. And that’s my main problem. =(

Hello Jane, thank you very much for your feedback! Congratulations on your weight loss! It’s so encouraging to know that you used Phentermine 2 times and it helped you both times. I guess that you didn’t take it for the third time because you already learnt what you should do to lose weight while being on two Phentermine courses. That’s so great! I wish you to never gain any extra weight and to always stay healthy and happy!

Been on Phentermine 25 days already. Managed to lose 5 kilos. Initial weight – 83 kilos, today I am at 78 kilos mark. Actually, I was hoping for higher results after the reviews I have read, still I can’t complain. Phentermine does work, no matter how much I was doubting it is capable in helping me at all. As many people, I did have side effects when I just started taking Phentermine. These included energy boost, total loss of appetite and headaches, topped off with dry mouth. Still, all of them seem to disappear on their own in some time,… Read more »

Wes, we’re in the same boat. I lost 6 kilos in a month. Very little for me. Disappointed. I was aiming at 15 kg. disappointed

As far as I understand, I am the first male to write anything on this thread. Oh well, I don’t mind. Men also have to fight excess weight and also might need some help (or more help than women need, who knows). Childhood is the time when the extra weight hit me, and ever since then it kept accompanying me. Not the best companion, I should say. I felt great when I was at 73-74 kilos, but that was such a short period of time, after which the weight kept going up and up, and I wasn’t really doing enough,… Read more »

Hi Mannie. Sorry, you’re the second male. Read above. There’s another success story of man on Phentermine.  It is fantastic that you managed losing 7 kilos before you even started to use Phentermine. Bravo to you that you didn’t give up half way and decided to get some help from Phentermine. 2.5 kilos weight loss in a week is a great thing! Wish you more and more kilos going away with each day! Your love for exercising is something that will surely help you! Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you have.

round 2 for Phentermine. 5 years ago lost 22 kg on it. Gained 15 back this year. Lots of stress and unhealthy eating. Now aiming to lose at least the same as before. Good luck to all

I love this stuff. I started taking one 15 mg daily and yes, at first I couldn’t think of one thing I wanted to eat, but I made sure I was drinking lots of water. I also had to take it first thing in the morning or I couldn’t get to sleep until late at night. Eventually all those effects gradually started to disappear so the Dr. put me on 2 15 mg pills daily. I had to stop taking them because the cost was getting to be more than I could afford. Dr. Visit once a month $85.00 +… Read more »

Hi Cameron. How is it going? You managed to lose 40 pounds! Were you trying to develop healthy eating habits, as this is the best moment to do so. Now that you’re off the drug, you might try continuing without any medicines? I am sure you are strong enough to do it! Keep eating little portions of healthy foods and add exercises.

so I finished my 4 weeks on phentermine. Total weight loss is 8 kg. in fact, I was hoping for 10-12 kg. I guess, that would be too much, and my skin would not benefit from such a drastic weight reduction. I lost 4 kg during the first week and I gained 1 kg during the second week. I was ready to give up, but the price of the drug convinced me to not throw money at waste and give it more time to work. So, it did work. I lost 2 kg in the third week and 3 more… Read more »

my GP prescribed me Phentermine. I asked and he just gave me the prescription. Now I read that hypertension is a contraindication to Phentermine use. If I have a high BP, should I buy Phentermine or not? I have doubts about taking it in my condition.

Lisa Blake

Hello Frank. I am sorry to hear about your situation. I don’t know why your doctor didn’t take your high BP into account. You should ask him, what you should do. He should know you better. Probably will ask you to go through some tests. In fact, it is the right thing to do before prescribing Phentermine. Or you might consider visiting another doctor and tell him about your situation.

my experience is a good/bad one. However, I am writing this to warn everyone. When you are on Phentermine, DO NOT forget to eat and DO NOT forget to drink water during the day. YOU MUST EAT & DRINK something. I was on Phentermine for a month and took a new month supply, when that day came. I was too busy running that day, here and there. Work, problems at home, etc. etc, everything built up and I literally had no time to sit and even to take a sip of water. Late in the evening I realized I didn’t… Read more »

Phentermine help me lose 32 kg of extra weight. The initial weight loss goal I set before I started taking Phentermine was to lose 45 kg. Thanks to the drug, I managed to successfully change the daily diet. I succeeded in totally avoiding stuff like ice, cream, pizza, and candies and totally gave up bread. My meals contained and still contain fresh vegetables and fruit, some lean meat (skinless chicken, rarely a grilled steak) and fermented dairy products. Not really a fan of fish but also did my best to include it in the diet. Tried snacking with something healthy,… Read more »

Hello Emily! Thank you for your review of your story. Taking Phentermine was a good decision. So happy for your smaller size! I am sure you will manage to continue even though you are off Phentermine now. You sound very decisive! Good luck and remember that you always can ask questions, if needed.

Lost 17 kilos during the 3-month course of Phentermine 37.5 mg. Reached my weight loss goal. I am now 2 years off of it and still remain at the same weight. I was so afraid of taking it, so I kept postponing their use for quite some time. Wish I wouldn’t wait that long. Side effects were mild and I suffered from the insomnia only the first 5 days. Then I could sleep normally. The effect over my appetite gradually reduced by week 2 of the 3rd month, so I knew it was my time to get off of it.… Read more »

lost 30 kg on Phentermine and during post-phentermine period. Maintained weight for 3 years until the car crash. Gained 18 kilos because of the consequences. Starting Phentermine again. Wish me luck! Last time, everything was going so great with Phentermine.

Lisa Blake

Hello Maria! So sorry for your car crash. Did you fully recover? Are you planning to get on with exercises? I wish you all the best of luck! Your prior result is indeed an impressive one! I wish you to get at the desired weight nice and easy. Be well!

Hi Lisa. No, I still didn’t recover completely. It will take some time, and I know things will go faster if I get rid of excess fat. I am lucky that I am allowed to go swimming. I also have 3 therapeutic physical trainings per week. Starting swimming on Monday, as well as Phentermine. Hope, everything goes well. Really need to get back into shape and return to normal life

in the first 3 days, I though I will quit Phentermine because of headaches and insomnia. I am glad i continued taking it. The side effects subsided. The only one that remained was the dry mouth, but it’s ok. I always loved water. So, I used it for 3 months and lost 15 kg of 18 I needed to lose. It’s been 6 months after I discontinued phentermine, and I did manage to lose two more kg. the last one just won’t give in. However, I know that I wouldn’t be able to get at this weight without phentermine. I… Read more »

Hi Ronald. Do you still manage to keep the same weight? didn’t your hunger return as you stopped using Phentermine? I am afraid of the yo-yo effect. Any ways you know to avoid it?

Lisa Blake

Hello Wondering! The main thing about using Phentermine is to develop new habits, the useful and healthy ones. He drug suppresses your hunger and cravings for junk food and sweets, so it’s easier for you to get rid of the habit to eat them. You also can successfully fight binging, which also helps decrease the volume of your stomach. So, after the entire course, your body should be used to eating less, and if you eat by a good schedule every day, your body will get used to that. Thus you won’t be gaining any weight back. 3 months is… Read more »

it’s very different from the first time I used Phentermine. No insomnia, but the headache is horrible. Any ideas on how to make it subside?

Lisa Blake
Member

Hello. It does happen so that you get different side effects every time you re-start Phentermine. Sorry to hear about your headaches. They should subside in a couple of days. All you can do for now is to drink more water, or have a sip of coffee (it helps some people), and you have to make sure you eat enough. People can get a headache from not eating enough food, you know. If none of these happen, you wil have to take any drug that helps you. You can use ibuprofen or paracetamol, whichever works better for you. Good luck!

what do you mean? I can get even worse side effects that I had the first time? Insomnia for 3 days, horrible dry mouth and nausea. What should I expect this time? I am worried..

Lisa Blake

I mean, it can be totally different. You might have no to very little side effects, or you can have the same ones. Hard to tel. it’s very individual! Either way, wish you luck and hope you won’t get any severe side effects and your weight loss progress goes nice and smooth!

hi Lisa. I don’t mind sharing the experience! The mood is great and I am so happy to get a compliment from my co-worker. She noticed I lost weight. Ieeey! Ok, so I eat 5-6 times a day. 3 main meals and 2 snacks. Usually snack with fruit in the morning and nuts or seeds in the evening. Avoid any sugary drinks and sugar in general. Exercise is not so much till now. I walk to work instead of taking a bus and I try to go up and down the stairs as much as I can. I am also… Read more »

Good luck to you! I lost already 12 kgs in 7 weeks. A bit slower than before and a bit different side effects, but still going good.

Lisa Blake

Oh hi! Wow! 12 kilos already! Way to go! Remember, as you are getting closer to your perfect weight, the rate of your weight loss will be getting slower, and it’s a normal thing. The main is to not give up and push it till the end. You still have 5 more weeks, so I am sure you will get to your goal. Best of luck!

Lisa Blake

Good luck to you, TT44. Wish you to manage losing all the weight you need to lose and no more need to come back to any drugs! Live happy and healthy!
PS. If you need any help or advice, feel free to write.

Hi Lisa, do you where is a safe place to purchase?

Lisa Blake
Member

Hello Sam. If you want to be safe… Before you purchase Phentermine or any other appetite suppressant, you must visit your doctor and get checked. Your health condition must be close to perfect to start using any potent drug. So I would suggest you first to consult your GP and have a prescription. You also might ask him for any tips on savings. Best of luck to you!
